Since 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been directly applicable data protection law and has brought unprecedented attention to data protection. This development has not come to a standstill, especially in light of the COVID 19 pandemic, but makes it clear how important it is to check, comply with and document data protection regulations. 

Headaches for the companies? 

Many requirements make previous approaches uncertain, if not inadmissible. Agriculture is not exempt from this. Here, too, we encounter questionable procedures for the protection of personal data on an almost daily basis.
